Wine:

Showcasing the ripe expression of Niellucciu and Sciaccarellu in a fresh yet concentrated style, the 2021 Red Patrimonio Cru des Agriates unfolds with charm and finesse. It reveals juicy, fleshy black fruit with remarkable precision, free from any overt oak influence. The delicate tannins will continue to refine, creating a harmonious and well-balanced wine that shines beautifully at the table. A true favorite, rated 92/100 by our Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Hand harvested, destemmed, vatted by plot in stainless steel vats, macerated for 15 days with gentle daily pumping over. Devatted by gravity, blend of free-run and press juices.
Blend of the plot-based wines after malolactic fermentation, then aged on delicate lees for 24 months in stainless steel vats.
Unfiltered, unfined wine with no additives other than a moderate dose of SO2.

Flavours of black fruits and spicy notes.

Palate:

Mature and concentrated, this wine reveals luscious, juicy, and fleshy black fruit with remarkable precision, free of any oak influence. Delicate tannins add finesse and will continue to soften over time.

Located in Saint-Florent near Patrimonio, at the heart of the Agriates Desert, Domaine Giacometti thrives in a pristine and wild setting—undoubtedly one of the most breathtaking landscapes on the island.

Now in the hands of the third generation, siblings Sarah and Simon Giacometti cultivate 26 hectares under organic farming, specializing in the Niellucciu grape. Planted in exceptional granite soils, this variety has become the estate’s hallmark.
