Wine:

The 2022 red Saint-Joseph exudes beautiful Syrah maturity, with notes of black fruit, tapenade and cocoa. The palate is full-bodied and slightly spicy, with hints of violets and balsamic. It's an expressive, fleshy wine, of fine dimension, carried by its density and firm tannins without harshness. A fine bottle that will keep well for another decade. Rated 93/100 by Olivier Poussier, World's Best Sommelier and member of the Comité de Vente à la Propriété.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested, partially destemmed, fermented in open vats with regular punching of the cap and pumping over, aged for 12 months in 228- and 600-litre oak barrels.

Color:

Deep ruby-purple red.

Nose:

Beautifully mature Syrah, with hints of cocoa.

Palate:

Finely spicy and full-bodied, this cuvée, with its mature Syrah grapes, offers firm tannins, great volume and beautiful expression.

From now until 2033, and even longer for enthusiasts.
