Wine:

The 2021 Chante Alouette White Hermitage , a pure Marsanne, is a blend of select parcels from the finest terroirs of the appellation. The 2021 vintage, exceptional for whites, brings forward honeyed and quince notes, with delicate floral nuances and a touch of fine oak. It embodies the true essence of Hermitage. Already showing excellent maturity, this wine is expressive, with a rich yet fresh texture. Flavors of spice, ginger, and nuts lead into a long, citrus-tinged finish. A perfect match for creamy poultry or shellfish, it promises a remarkable experience. Rated 93/100 by the Selection Committee.

Vinification:

Harvested by hand. Long pressing, light settling. Fermentation and ageing 30 to 40% in stainless steel vats and 60 to 70% in demi-muids, 10% of which are new and 90% from one to three wines, stirring on the lees for the first 2-3 months, which adds texture to the wine.

Certified organic and biodynamic wine.
