Wine:
With 90% Merlot, the 2019 Saint-Emilion Les Chênes de Macquin exhibits subtle truffle nuances, macerated fruit notes, and a smoky touch from its oak aging. Concentrated, perfectly ripe, and well-supported by its wood aging, it unfolds a rich texture in a velvety, fine, and precise style. It beautifully represents the vintage and the grand vin in a more accessible manner, yet with considerable depth. It can be opened today if decanted in advance or served in large glasses.
