Wine:

Produced with great refinement, the 2021 red Vosne-Romanée Vieilles Vignes opens with delicate aromas of rose and black fruit, with a noble, discreet oakiness. Minimally extracted, it has a refined style, with a beautiful, fragrant, elegant juice that is particularly moving. One could almost start savoring it today, so delicious and graceful is it, but this great wine still deserves a little more aging. Rated 93/100 by the Committee.

Vinification:

Hand-harvested at the end of September 2021 from 50-60 year-old vines. Fermentation with indigenous yeasts. Aged in French oak barrels.

Color:

Bright, clear ruby red.

Nose:

Powdery and fragrant, with delicate aromas of red berries and subtle rose nuances.

Palate:

This elegant wine is a classic of the appellation, a very delicate Pinot with a well-balanced structure and fine, silky tannins.

Temperature:

Serve between 14 and 16°C.

Food and wine pairing:

Spit-roasted free-range poultry, beef cheek with pinot noir, sauteed pork chop.
