The 2022 Meursault White from Domaine du Pavillon beautifully highlights both the Chardonnay grape and the exceptional vintage within this prestigious appellation. The nose reveals fresh floral notes and delicate pastry aromas, complemented by a touch of vanilla and spice from the aging process. On the palate, it captures the essence of Meursault with precision, freshness, and a crisp edge, with the subtle influence of barrel aging adding depth and balance. Best enjoyed in 3 to 4 years for its full expression, or decant an hour beforehand if opened earlier. |
