The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Brothers Emmanuel and Éric Dampt have been shaping the Chablis landscape for over thirty years, crafting wines with true identity across the three valleys of the Yonne, Serein, and Armançon. Their wide range of terroirs yields wines of remarkable precision and consistency—each cuvée a testament to their mastery and deep understanding of the region.
Wine Crafted in a vintage of excellent ripeness and located next to the Grand Cru of the same name, the 2023 White Chablis Les V...désirs reveals aromas of orchard fruits and juicy pear, accented by a delicate smoky and mineral touch. This is a white wine with a subtle saline character, showing flinty notes, impressive depth, and a rounded, textured palate with remarkable persistence. A true gastronomic wine, it will evolve beautifully over five years and offers outstanding value for pleasure. A Selection Committee favourite, rated 93/100.
Vinification Hand harvested, alcoholic and malolactic fermentation (completed), in stainless steel vats. Aged on delicate lees for 10 months.
