The estate and the wine |
In 1979, Joëlle and Pascal Bouchard inherited the estate of André Tremblay, Joëlle's father, a leading figure in local wine growing since the 50's. A visionary winemaker, André Tremblay had acquired plots in the best Chablis terroirs. In the early 80's Joëlle and Pascal planted new vines and took over some beautiful vineyard plots. They created a superb estate that today covers 33 hectares located in the 4 Chablis appellations. |

The Pascal Bouchard Vieilles Vignes (old vines) Chablis White 2008 is the perfect archetype of the Chablis style. Drawing its minerality from the ancient vines of this mythical terroir, the wine on entry is fresh and unctuous. We then experience the chiselled reach of a Chablis that is exemplary throughout. |
