The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Nestled in a stunning landscape surrounded by garrigue and truffle oaks, Domaine Les Eminades is a true hidden gem of Saint-Chinian. On these wild, arid lands known for producing exceptional wines, Patricia and Luc Bettoni craft deep, refined wines with artistic precision, all while adhering to biodynamic principles.

Their vineyard, rooted in limestone, sandstone, and rolled pebbles, is home to old vines that yield some of the most outstanding wines of the Mediterranean south. These wines are precise, generous, and complex, always showcasing the purity of the fruit. Recognized with a 1-star rating in the French wine guide RVF, they stand as a testament to the couple’s mastery and dedication.
Wine The 2023 White Domaine Les Eminades IGP Coteaux de Fontcaude Cuvée Silice is a revelation, offering a beautifully pure expression of Sauvignon Blanc—without the usual varietal markers. A Sauvignon from the Languedoc? We were just as surprised, but this unexpected match is a real success, standing out for its freshness and precision. Lively and expressive, it bursts with notes of yellow fruit and citrus. The texture is smooth and seamless, with a crisp, mouthwatering finish that perfectly reflects the region’s cooler terroirs. An absolute joy. Rated 94/100 by our Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested in small crates. Direct pressing, settling and spontaneous fermentation. Aged for 10 months on fine lees in barrels.
