The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine Following in the footsteps of Spain’s most exciting winemaking movements, Envínate has emerged as one of the most spectacular success stories of recent years. Based in Tenerife, this collective of four passionate friends—Roberto Santana, Alfonso Torrente, José Martínez, and Laura Ramos—is reshaping expectations and propelling their wines to the ranks of the world’s most sought-after.

Their unique granite terroir showcases the island’s indigenous grape varieties, reviving ancient traditions through distinctive single-vineyard wines that celebrate Spain’s rich heritage.

With instinctive winemaking, minimal sulfur use, native yeasts, and careful ageing in foudres and barrels—never with new oak—Envínate crafts original, delicate, and refined wines that are now coveted worldwide.
Wine Sourced from the heart of the island in Santiago del Teide, the 2023 Red Tenerife Benje comes from 70- to 120-year-old vines planted at 1,000 metres altitude on volcanic soils. Sheltered from the coastal influence, this site benefits from a warm, dry climate. Vinified with minimal extraction and short macerations to preserve its vibrant freshness, this wine reveals beautiful floral aromas, fresh fruit notes, and finely textured tannins. Harmonious, expressive, and already wonderfully approachable, it’s a red that impresses from the first sip. Awarded 94/100 by Parker.
Vinification From vines aged between 70 and 120 years old, located at an altitude of 1000 metres on volcanic soil. Fermentation and maceration with partial destemming. Matured in concrete tanks and 600-litre barrels.
