Wine The 2023 Red Vin de Savoie Arbin Mondeuse Hors Piste perfectly captures the richness and depth of this iconic grape variety. Vinified without sulfur and aged in concrete eggs, it opens with juicy, fruit-forward aromas, particularly syrupy cherry. This generous character carries through to the palate, where vibrant freshness is beautifully preserved by a restrained aging process, leading to a smoky, lingering finish. A pure, fruit-driven Mondeuse that can be enjoyed now after decanting or cellared for 5+ years. Simply delicious! A Selection Committee favorite, rated 94/100.
Vinification Hand harvested. 50% whole grapes, 50% destemmed grapes, vinification in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats, 100% indigenous yeasts, no sulphur. Aged for 12 months, 80% in concrete eggs and 20% in Tava amphorae.
