The estate and the wine
The estate and the wine A flagship estate of the Loire Valley, awarded two stars by the French wine guide RVF, the Luneau-Papin family is renowned for crafting age-worthy, precise, and expressive Muscadets that stand among the region’s finest, delivering both freshness and intensity.

Today, Pierre-Marie and Marie Luneau-Papin carry the estate’s legacy forward with remarkable energy, further refining their terroir-driven approach. They embrace traditional élevage methods, using underground concrete vats and, at times, amphorae to enhance the wines’ depth and character.

With a commitment to biodynamics, meticulous craftsmanship, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence, the estate has secured its place at the pinnacle of Muscadet winemaking.
Wine What energy! The 2023 White Muscadet Sèvre et Maine La Grange is all about tension and freshness, with a vibrant minerality and a sleek, well-balanced structure. Bright citrus and white fruit notes bring clarity to this expressive, fruit-driven wine, which impresses with its purity, precision, and lingering, refined bitterness on the finish. A superb Muscadet, perfect for pairing with a well-prepared fish dish. Rated 92/100 by the Selection Committee.
Vinification Hand harvested, whole grapes pressed in a pneumatic press, fermentation and ageing on lees in underground concrete tanks covered with glass paste tiles. Bottled in October 2024.

Certified Biodynamic wine.
