Le Santenay Clos des Champs Carafe White 2008 is a smiling expression of the Chardonnay. This is a totally fresh and light wine. Fleshy and mouth filling on entry, this is the perfect springboard from which the exotic aromatic range of plant extracts, citron and sandalwood can express themselves. Drink while still young and fruity. It's delicious!Vinification:
Hand harvested, table-sorted, slow pressing of the grapes, regular stirring up until the end of the malolactic fermentation, aging on the lees for 11 months in oak casks of which 15% are new.Color:
Bright, clear colour, slightly golden pale yellow.Nose:
Rich and elegant on the nose, exotic, sandalwood aromas.Palate:
Fresh and mouth filling on entry, smooth and fat on the palate, we find all the terroir's mineral expression and the floralness of the Chardonnay.
