Wine:
The La Chablisienne Vaulorent Chablis Premier Cru White 2007 is distinguished by the nobility of its terroir. Vaulorent effectively lies near Fourchaume, neighboring the "Les Preuses" Grand Cru. All finesse and elegance, the wine shows the fabric and the fat of the greatest Chablis. The frame is naturally long, taut and chiselled.Vinification:
Vinification: cold static settling before the start of fermentation. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentations in small casks and in vat. Aging on fine lees for a period of 15 months, in vat or in small casks.Color:
Straw coloured, clear, bright wine.Nose:
Complex, fine and lingering on the nose, slightly restrained in the first years, it opens up over time. Aromas of ripe fruit embellished by a hint of white flowers.Palate:
Full, rich and well rounded on the palate. The balance between fat and power, brought by maturity, combines perfectly with the mineral vibration of the terroir. The finish is long.
Temperature:
Serve between 10 and 12°C.Food and wine pairing:
Crustaceans, seafood, fish, white meats, etcCellar aging:
Enjoy up to and including 2015The meticulous work of the wine makers associated under the La Chablisienne banner gives birth to wines that time continues to magnify. Coming from a fantastic mosaic of "climats", they exhibit pure mineral emotions. This winery was founded in 1923 by Abbot Balitran, then paster of Poinchy, to help wine producers who were unable to sell their wines. "La Chablisienne" has since become an indisputable force, with a presence in all the Chablis region's appellations, both Premier Cru and Grand Cru.
