Wine:
With finesse and elegance, the 2022 red Chambolle-Musigny lives up to its name. The nose pinnates with finesse, revolving around small red fruits enhanced by a blond woodiness, but also plenty of freshness. The structure has all the grace and finesse of a Chambolle, with hints of licorice and butterscotch from the ageing process. A bottle that deserves patience, ideally 2-3 years.Vinification:
Hand harvested, vinified in temperature-controlled oak truncated-cone vats, aged for 14 to 16 months 100% in oak barrels, 35% of which are new.Color:
Bright carmine-garnet red.Nose:
Pinots with finesse, carried by aromas of red berries and underlined by notes of blond wood.Palate:
Delicate and elegant, as befits the Chambolle terroir, the juice offers notes of butterscotch and licorice.
