From exceptional clay-limestone terroirs, the 2020 Red Domaine Capmartin Madiran La Cuvée du Couvent offers a stunning expression of the appellation. Its pure, fresh, and velvety profile is enhanced by perfectly ripe tannins. Aged in large 500-liter wooden vats and barrels, this wine strikes a beautiful balance—generous in volume, concentrated but never heavy, and above all, incredibly refined. A masterful bottle at this price point. Rated 94/100 by our Selection Committee.

Nose:

An intensely complex aroma with notes of blackcurrant and blackberry mixed with a floral touch of violet and a hint of graphite.
