Located in Verzenay, Maison Quenardel & Fils is the understated sibling of Maison J.M. Labruyère, which also owns the esteemed Domaine Jacques Prieur in Burgundy. With just 6 hectares under cultivation, meticulous care is taken to produce refined champagnes with minimal dosage, exemplified by their impeccable Brut Réserve.

Featuring chardonnay and pinot noir in low dosage, the Brut Réserve Champagne opens with a very pure nose around beautiful floral scents provided by the chardonnay. The generous, full-bodied structure, punctuated by a refreshing thread of acidity, reveals its beauty with a fine final bitterness that prolongs and amplifies the wine's relief. A cuvée that's perfect as an aperitif or with pressed, cooked cheeses. A wonderful discovery. Rated 93/100 by the Comité.
