The 2022 red Saint-Joseph Rue des Poissonniers, Paris XVIIIe truly excels beyond its appellation! A favorite of our Committee and rated 94/100, it delights with a smoky, ripe nose, a blend of black fruits and spices, and the characteristic bacon note of the finest Syrahs. The palate follows suit, offering a richly dense juice, depth, and a superb mineral brightness as a sign of freshness, along with smooth tannins. This velvety ensemble will refine beautifully over the next decade without any trouble: it ranks in the top 10 of the finest cuvées we've tasted in recent years!Vinification:
Hand-harvested. Aged for 12 months in 225- and 500-litre barrels, including 10% new wood.Color:
